Our 1st Ever Community-Wide Moving Prayer
Saturday, September 25 (Rain Date: Sunday, 9/26)
The mala (or set of 108 prayer beads) is used to focus, transform and bring the mind inward. Date: Saturday, Sep 11, 2010
Time: 2:00--5:00pm
Cost: $45 ($35 if you register by 9/1)
In this Kundalini yoga workshop, you will learn how to maximize Kundalini Yoga as a healing modality to allow your soul to create changes at the core, and recover your youthful, innocent self.
“In the Age of Aquarius, the depression and stress on humankind will tear up people who do not have the technical knowledge of self.”
~Yogi Bhajan
In our journey through life, loss, grief, trauma and intense stress can create patterns of attachment, lodging in our minds and bodies. You will learn how to maximize Kundalini Yoga as a healing modality to allow your soul to create changes at the core, and recover your youthful, innocent self.
You will be working on the Lower Triangle of Chakras, the First, Second and Third Chakra, allowing the energy to transform in a balanced manner to the Higher Triangle of Chakras:
“If the energy in the lower triangle of chakras is not balanced and allowed to transform to higher energy frequencies, one is totally a slave to hunger, thirst and sexuality, following the whim of the body."
~Yogi Bhajan
During this workshop, you will also learn a set of exercises that are truly rare jewels of Kundalini Yoga. They are the:
NINE MINUTES MAX MEDITATIONS
“These sets of exercises are 5000 years old, the results of human experiments by the ancient yogis, sages and healers. These kriyas have effects which no herb, no healing, nothing can equal. They are very secret exercises of Kundalini Yoga. They are not even taught to adepts. These very special powerful kriyas take only 9 minutes with 2 minutes relaxation time. These meditations can change anybody’s life!”
~Yogi Bhajan

Highlights from our
Wildflower Walk
~ Sunday, April 18, 2010
with Bradley White, Naturalist
We found evidence of woodpeckers, bear, fox and deer. Some of the plants we discovered included Jack in the Pulpit, Mustard Garlic, Spring Anemone, Columbine, Liver Leaf and the rare Walking Fern. We also found cool Flint and Quartz rocks. The highlight of the hike was when we saw a Long-tailed Salamandar and a wee baby Newt!
It was a great hike and awesome education in the outdoors....Thanks, Bradley!
We had an incredible time at the 2009 Community Love In Motion Autism Event in the fall. Over $1500 was raised for autistic children. We moved, grooved and gave throughout the day, sharing our time, gifts and hearts. Thanks to all who came and contributed!
Love in Motion was an opportunity to support a local non-profit organization and in turn help families in our community affected by autism. To read about these local families and their cause, click on the following links:
